The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested a suspect from Lahore on charges of involvement in the manufacturing, possession, and distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on Dark Web platforms and other social media.

Documents state that NCCIA has registered a first information report (FIR) against the accused, a resident of Lahore, based on information received from Interpol.

On the complaint of Anees ur Rehman, Technical Assistant NCCIA CCRC Islamabad, an Interpol-certified ICSE user, it was reported that during the 6th Victim Identification Task Force Asia (Singapore, October 2024), analysis of CSAM material seized during Operations Rhodes and Eisberg—joint investigations led by Queensland Police Service (Australia)—revealed content distributed by a TLZ user “MYLOVEDLOLICON MYLOVEDMANGA.” The material contained videos depicting the abuse of minor girls.

The user was identified as the administrator of a secret darknet group “Rainbow,” sharing child abuse material via TorChat. Linked offenders “SASSY” (Brazil) and “TWINKLE” (Portugal) were previously arrested, with seized data connecting them to the same material and handwritten identifiers like “BABY HEART 2017” and “clover@th.com.”

All intelligence suggests that “MYLOVEDLOLICON” is also “BROWN” from the Rainbow Group and “ABD CLOVER” from the Baby Heart site, suspected of sexually abusing two minor nieces.

Evidence indicates possible residence near Ashraf Masjid, Multan, and connection to a Suzuki car (Reg No. LRS 1540). Based on OSINT and cyber reconnaissance by Anees ur Rehman, the offender was identified as Asim Muhammad Qasim, resident of Lahore.

During the course of enquiry, Cyber Tipline Reports No. 127256581, 127263110, and 127817783 were received from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) through Interpol channels. The reports identified that the Google account “mylovedmanga@gmail.com,” verified via mobile number ‪+923036148987‬ on 16-03-2022 in the name of Malik Asim, and the associated WhatsApp account ‪+923036148987‬, were involved in the manufacturing, possession, and distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Evidence established that the accused remained continuously involved in sexual grooming of minors, production of CSAM, and commercial sexual exploitation of children from 2008 to 2022 (specifically on Dark Web platforms and other social media), wherein seven minor victims have so far been identified.

During the enquiry, digital devices used in the commission of the offences were recovered from the accused.

Sufficient incriminating digital and documentary evidence has been collected against Asim Muhammad Qasim, Lahore, establishing his involvement in the commission of offences punishable under Sections 21, 22A, and 28 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016, read with Section 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
