Dubai International Airport has released new passenger statistics, showing that 3.2 million Pakistanis arrived at the airport during the first nine months of 2025.
Officials said Pakistani travelers ranked fourth among the most frequent users of Dubai Airport. Pakistanis visit Dubai for tourism, business, family reunions, job opportunities, and as a major transit hub for Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.
Dubai remains the primary gateway for travel between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
Between July and September, 24.2 million passengers used Dubai Airport, a 1.9 percent increase from last year and the highest quarterly figure in the airport’s 65-year history.
From January to September, total passenger traffic reached 70.1 million, 2.1 percent higher than last year. Over the past 12 months, Dubai Airport handled a record 93.8 million passengers.
Comparing nationalities, India topped the list with 8.8 million passengers, followed by 5.5 million travelers from Saudi Arabia and 4.6 million from the United Kingdom.
Dubai Airport officials also highlighted strong operational performance. Immigration processing for 99.6 percent of departing passengers was completed within 10 minutes, while 99.8 percent of arriving passengers cleared immigration within 15 minutes.
Ongoing expansion at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 aims to accommodate rising traffic, especially from South Asian travelers.
