Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PSX: PPL) on Friday announced a change in its top management, appointing Chief Financial Officer Mohammad Khalid Rehman as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director on an interim basis. The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors at its meeting held on January 9, 2026, according to a stock filing at the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Rehman will assume the additional charge of CEO and Managing Director with effect from January 10, 2026, while continuing to serve as the company’s CFO. He replaces Sikandar Ali Memon.
The interim appointment will remain in place for a period of three months or until a regular chief executive is appointed, whichever occurs earlier.
PPL has main objectives of conducting exploration, prospecting, development and production of oil and natural gas resources.
